If you're planning a trip to the dentist, it might not be the wisest decision to make your appointment with the person you just broke up with.

A Polish woman is facing three years in prison after she removed all of her ex-boyfriend's teeth during dental surgery just days after their breakup.

"I tried to be professional and detach myself from my emotions," Anna Mackowiak, 34, told the Austrian Times. "But when I saw him lying there I just thought, 'What a bastard' and decided to take all his teeth out."

Secret Service scandal

Just to be clear, do I understand correctly that the scandal erupted after the agent stiffed the prostitute?

The Colombian prostitute who triggered the scandal that has rocked the Secret Service got angry with two agents who refused to pay her full price for servicing the two of them, leading to a financial dispute over between $40 and $60, according to a government source who has been briefed on the investigation.

Is this the worst president in history, or what?

In in the midst of the biggest economic crisis in 80 years, he points fingers and blames anyone who opposes him.  Even as he insists on maintaining historic high spending rates, he blames political gridlock for the loss of our nations AAA credit rating.  With what can now be safely referred to as his motto, he placed blame on former President Bush for the debt mess, even though he has spent as much in 2 years as Bush spent in 8.  In the same speech, he blamed Wall Street and Europe.

At the same time, his talking heads blame the Tea Party for the downgrade.  Remember, the Tea Party is calling for cuts in irresponsible government spending.  These were the folks pushing for a balanced budget amendment, so naturally, a credit rating downgrade must be their fault because anything that does not feed big government must be bad.

The Sibyl mocking writes, "The American People have failed President Obama and they must be replaced."

Pointing fingers is not a new tactic for Obama.  Here is a link to some of his previous attempts at blame shifting.

President Obama, remember, when you point one finger at someone else, you are pointing three fingers back at yourself.

A bullet accidentally fired from a pink handgun struck the penis of an Arizona man

CHANDLER, Ariz. — An accidental bullet struck the penis of an Arizona man who was carrying his fiance's gun in the waistband of his pants.

When the pink handgun fired during the couple's visit to a grocery store on Sunday, Joshua Seto, 27, immediately began bleeding heavily, and fiance Cara Christopher promptly called 911, according to USA Today.

Christopher was instructed to use pressure to stop the bleeding and to avoid looking at the wound -- which she did anyway.

“I did look at it," Christopher said. "It's pretty bad."

Police are warning armed residents to exercise caution when handling firearms.

"Always treat firearms as though they are loaded, Chandler Police Detective Seth Tyler said. "If you are going to carry a handgun on your person, use a holster, not your waistband."

It was unclear whether Seto had been released from the hospital or if there will be permanent damage, police said.

UN indirectly funding militant Islamists through pirate ransoms

The United Nations Just Told Reuters What?

Richard Lough of Reuters has just opened the ugly can of worms no one in the maritime shipping industry ever wanted to see opened. Make no mistake, the Obama administration didn't want to see this report either.

Ransoms paid to Somali pirates to free merchant vessels are ending up in the hands of Islamist militants, laying shipping groups open to accusations of breaching international sanctions, U.N. officials told Reuters.

John Steed, the principal military adviser to the U.N. special envoy to Somalia and head of the envoy's counter-piracy unit, said links between armed pirate gangs and Somalia's al Qaeda-affiliated rebels were gradually firming.

"The payment of ransoms just like any other funding activity, illegal or otherwise, is technically in breach of the Somalia sanctions regime if it makes the security situation in Somalia worse," said Steed.

"Especially if it is ending up in the hands of terrorists or militia leaders -- and we believe it is, some directly, some more indirectly," said Steed, a retired military officer.

Remember, this is the United Nations, which is not so small a thing.
