If President Obama can have a good sense of humor about his birth certificate controversy, why can't his followers? Apparently Mitt Romney made a joke about nobody asking for his birth certificate and left-wing bloggers went nuts. Ironically, the president's campaign staff thinks the birth certificate controversy is funny--so funny, in fact, that they sell Obama birth certificate mugs on the Obama campaign store website.
Whoa! $22.50!!! Can you believe that price? Almost 10% of American's are out of work and he is selling coffee mugs at about 4 times their market value.
But here is the important part--the description of the mug actually encourages people to talk about Obama's birth certificate:
"There's really no way to make the conspiracy about President Obama's birth certificate completely go away, so we might as well laugh at it -- and make sure as many people as possible are in on the joke. Get your Obama birth certificate Made in the USA mug today."
So why are left wing bloggers in such an uproar? The way I see it, they should send Romney a complementary mug.
