Variations on a theme will allow us to examine a theme or individual from different angles. After careful consideration, we will learn something about the subject.
In this entry, the theme is President Obama.
Our first variant is the technologically adept R.O.B.A.M.A:
President Barack Obama has finally revealed his true nature. Far from the suave, smooth talking, liberal-messianic orator of the new millennium, he is nothing more than just a guy who can read. Only read . . . whatever happens to appear on his beloved teleprompter (affectionately nicknamed, "Michelle 2"). Far from a leader with thoughts and plans of his own, he is a puppet to the left. A robot: R.O.B.A.M.A.
Asserting a spark of independence from the collective progressive mind, Obama rebels and attempts to re-establish his ties to the black community. After downloading every episode of "What's Happening" and assimilating the characters, he chooses to model the bossy nature of Shirley and the innocence of Dwayne. To symbolize them both, he adapts himself to their common feature: the afro. He displays another side of himself -- Frobama.
Boldly resuming his role of leader of the free world after his near-fatal teleprompter crash, he begins to campaign for more: more spending, more "healthcare reform", more stimulus, more government. In his largess, he shows us Mobama.
