Recent news reports claim that, once again, the missing link has been found. This time, the bones of a lemur-like lower primate are supposed to seal Darwin's case for good. The fossil has been named "Ida" (pronounced Ē-da). The cat-sized collection of bones has been touted as the "8th Wonder of the World" but even staunch evolutionists are concerned about the hype.

It does not take a genius to see the dissimilarities between the Ida fossil and human beings, but apparently it does take a high level of
indoctrination education to see the similarities. Compare, for instance, these two articles, the first is relatively lengthy and must go into great detail to establish the basis of the theory of evolution and how intelligent men and women could come to the conclusion that a lemur could evolve into a man. This article is found on t
he Age of the Sage.
The second article is much more direct and succinct. Without the burden of indoctrination, the author is able to simply and clearly explain Ida's deficiencies as a missing link. Read it here at

Unfortunately, some scientists are agenda driven and will go to great lengths to prove their point, whether or not the facts support them. An elitist perspective staring down the nose at the common man leads some of our academics to see beyond the obvious and find evidence where none exists. In this case, a foot bone was all the commonality required to establish a link between a lower primate and a human being. While much can be learned by a fossil in such good condition, common sense shows us it is not a human being and does not nearly resemble one.
